Mo Troper and Mr. Bones were supposed to play with Eastern Bakery at Characterz. I was so. Fucking. Pumped. I absolutely love Eastern Bakery, and Mo Troper/Mr. Bones are fantastic.
Mo Troper cancelled, and Sam asked we could play anything to fill the gap. We said we'd play Bye. Clayton played the guitar really, really slow, and we got this.
Thanks for listening to our albums and going to our shows and being our friends. Thank you to anyone who ever thought we were even half-decent. This has been an amazing year for all four of us, and it's largely because of this band.
If anyone has ever in any way had any emotional connection with a single line of one of these songs, then this band is a success. That's all I've ever wanted to do.
I listen to music because on an emotional level, it makes me feel like someone else out there feels the same way I do, and I'm not alone as I sometimes feel. I really hope we managed to provide that in some capacity.
See you never.
Goodbye forever.
